My father sent me an email with a bunch of photos in it – all funky photoshop tricks. (It had been forwarded to him) – I think I just found the source of them. This isn't exactly scripty – but still kinda cool.

Apparently they hold photoshop contests, etc. Some of the entries are very cool.

Another late bloomer to this "craze". Actually, (IMHO) it's kind of annoying to have tag boards directly ON YOUR MAIN SITE (slows load time, ones that referesh the page specifically make me crazy) – but I can see the value of it if it's on a link OFF your main page (kinda the way Jenni has hers set up – this, by the way is imitate Jenni week) 😉 I used to have that "hi script" running on my site – but I think a tag-board would work better perhaps…
In any case, I went looking for options for tag boards
There is, of course tag-board (They have a free, "feature-free" version. A more useful version is $20/year.)
There is also apparently a PHP tagboard (lives on your site – I always like that option)
Here's another tagboard.net. And yet another: shoutbox
And a whole bunch more here at the php resource index.
Decisions, decisions. If you have or had one – who did you use? what did you think of the one you chose?

I have a pocket pc phone – and I noticed some time ago that Google auto redirects me (when I'm on my phone) to the pda version of the page.
Being a lover of all things scripty – I've been looking for a way to do that too… Not that I've had a huge request for it – but just for the cool/why-not factor.
Every now and then I'll search around for it – but I still haven't found anything conclusive. I did however, come across this link this morning. which had the following code:
<script>
if (navigator.userAgent.indexOf("Windows CE") != -1)
{window.location='mindex.php'}
</script>
Even on that link, the poster said that it only works with pocket pc.
If anyone else has any ideas – I'd love to hear them!
Some generic browser sniffing can be found here: moock, dynamic drive, codehouse, webreference (but none of those focus on PDAs)
(and it's a little weird that almost a year ago today I was thinking about browser sniffing too… history repeats itself, I guess)
update: Doc had the answer – see the comments of this post! 😀
Often times when a script is posted here, the term "full server path" is used. This is a confusing term for many people. In the midst of a script tutorial or instructions, the focus is usually kept to the script at hand, so this term isn't described at depth, but ends up being the cause for many a script-installation to fail. Here, I'll try to describe what it means (and hopefully remember to link back to this post in the future whenever I use that term)

Style Master CSS Tutorial – I'll definitely need to square away some time to go through it – looks like a step by step guide on how to design a page using CSS.

And while I'm copying links from web-graphics – they also had this one up there too: Technicolor – lets you move color bars around and then provides some various combinations which you can see used in an example mini layout on the side.

I can't believe I don't already have this linked. This is a great application for previewing fonts – they don't even have to be installed. You can have it scan an entire folder or even CD and show you previews for everything it finds. You can even change the "sample" it uses to show you previews… just too freakin' cool for words.
