Winamp Playlists in MT

Posted by: Christine In: Bookmarks

Matt Haughey has recently converted to using MT and has come up with a way to generate a Winamp playlist for your blog using MT's Trackback feature. Read more about it here. Personally, I would put all of the information in to an include file to keep the rebuilds for your site down to a minimum.

Oh, man you beat me to posting this :)
I've been playing with it this afternoon and its pretty darn cool! :)

If anybody is worried about rebuilds taking too long, setting up a secondary blog that only has the info for this playlist, then you don't have to worry about all of your index pages getting rebuilt.

I've been playing with this a bit today and think it has potential, however I was wondering what happens when you have a thousand trackbacks. Won't that affect rebuilds, even if you use an include like he suggests?

Do I need any other Plug In than the "Do Something" for Winamp? Because I've tried hard to get it work, but I can't figure out how to…. I don't know what I'm doing wrong
