There is only one thing that I've always wished for with the MT-Search – that's the ability to find out what people are using the search to look up. Thanks to leuschke.org, you can now create a log to find out what people are searching for! Awesome!

Great informational little hack – and works like a charm. Although you know what would REALLY kick-butt? Knowing the person's IP address as well as a timestamp. No?

this is a great little hack, and so easy to implement.
my searchlog has been up for all of two hours, and i've already had two hits for "audrey tatou naked".
i too would like to see a timestamp on the referral…and an IP address might be nice, but if everyone knows their IP is potentially being tracked, i wonder if it would put people off of using the MT search feature?

Christine, did you ever get this to work? just curious… I couldn't. Wondering if it was written before the MySQL ver of MT… (and then the subsequent mt search update)
